Babette, the versatile singer and songwriter, is excited to announce the release of her latest single, You’re making me want this. Babette, who has a lifelong passion for music, wrote this single as part of her album “Am I Lily,” which depicts the journey of a relationship from beginning to end.
The single, written by Babette and Mark Beling, is a country song about the spark that remains alive when she sees an old flame again in a bar. It’s the kind of romantic encounter often seen in Hollywood movies. You’re making me want this reflects Babette’s own life experiences, where one night she ran into an old flame in a bar, and a flood of emotions overwhelmed her.
For Babette, this single is very special, as she still has a soft spot for him. She chose to release this single next because it is playful and “flirty.” “Something we all need once in a while,” Babette explains. She hopes the public will enjoy this single and find it relatable.
“I think people are going to love the song because it’s honest and genuine. It speaks to the heart of all of us and the emotions we sometimes don’t dare to express,” she adds.
You’re making me want this is for anyone who has ever been in a situation where they left a relationship before they were ready and then ran into that person again years later. This single reminds us of the emotions those experiences bring and how they affect us all.
